How We Got Here
The Heat Pump Hero started as Ryan's own venture — a focused, customer-first take on heat pump installations in Greater Victoria.
Its success opened the door to a bigger opportunity: purchasing Red Fox Heating & Air Conditioning, a company that's been serving Vancouver Island since 1991.
Today, Ryan and the team operate exclusively under the Red Fox brand — combining the founder-led, no-pressure approach you knew from The Heat Pump Hero with 35+ years of established HVAC heritage.
The Heat Pump Hero brand is still around — just not actively taking new bookings while we focus on growing Red Fox.
For existing Heat Pump Hero customers
You're Taken Care Of
- Annual tune-ups will be honoured — including any that were prepaid. If you're due (or overdue) for yours, give us a call and we'll get you scheduled.
- Equipment warranties stay in place — manufacturer warranties on Fujitsu and other systems we installed continue exactly as before.
- Same Ryan, same approach — you'll be working with the same person who installed or serviced your system.
- One number to remember: just call 250-888-6570 and let us know you were a Heat Pump Hero customer.
